Practise a language with a partner

If you want to practise a foreign language, talk to the people who are already here. Matching is random, so you sometimes meet a native speaker of the language you are learning; you can message or use voice.

How it helps

Live messaging and voice messages train both comprehension and writing. Voice is especially useful for pronunciation: the other person hears you and answers — by voice or text.

There are no lessons or exercises: it is a real conversation with a person, not a drill.

Ten interface languages

  • Russian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French.
  • Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu.
  • Pick the interface language in the page header.

How to start

  • Open ohoo.chat and choose the interface language.
  • Find a partner and say hello in the language you want.
  • If the person does not fit — “Skip” and meet someone else.
